I’m involved with a number of diversity, inclusion, and equity initiatives in philosophy and higher education in general.

I hold regular meetings with BIPOC students in philosophy and speak on panels about graduate school/job market experiences. In summer 2024, I’ll give the key note for PIKSI-Boston.

I’m an alumna of the Rutgers Summer Institute for Diversity in Philosophy, the Institute for the Recruitment of Teachers, and the Leadership Alliance’s Summer-Research Early Identification Program.
I’d be happy to chat about these programs (and others!).

Right now, I serve as the vice chair of the American Society for Aesthetic’s Diversity Committee and an Associate Editor for the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy (SEP).

I’m particularly proud to have helped create a new subject area, “Korean Philosophy", for the SEP.
It involved proposing the section, recruiting subject editors, and commissioning new entries.

I’m currently working on an encyclopedia-wide diversification project that identifies relevant non-western examples and works authors can incorporate into their general-topic entries.
